For this tutorial you will need

* Tube of choice, I am using the work of Jessica Dougherty which you can purchase from CDO HERE

Mask - I used another amazing Mask (#239)  done by VIX which you can download from her site HERE

*  Plug In - MuRa's Meister Copies
which you can download
HERE
(Unzip the plugin and save to your plugins folder)

Supplies -  I used a few tubes by Rainbow Coffi which I have supplied HERE
For more great tubes by Rainbow Coffi, visit Here (You must register to download.  It's a free register)
(all other supplies are included in the same download)

**as a note**
I also have included the circular rose accent in my supplies.  I have searched endlessly looking for the creater of it with no success.  I have left all the copyright information intact and if anyone knows who the original creater is please send me an email and I will include a link in the tutorial to their site/blog.

Let's Begin

OPEN YOUR TUBE, MASK and all items from your supplies folder in PSP

1. Open a new canvas 600 x 600 white background

2. "Edit", "copy" and edit, paste as a new layer on to your new canvas the rahmen-rose-3-bd-28-9-10 frame then reduce size to 90% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "90%" all layers UNCHECKED
(I used my eraser brush and erased the copyright information before I pasted the rahmen-rose frame on to my canvas)

3.  Take your magic wand tool and
click inside the frame until you have marching ants
The best settings I found to do this with are as follows;
(see print screen below)
Mode: Add(shift), Match mode: RGB Value, Tolerance: 102, Contiguous checked, Feather: 0, Anti-alias checked, Inside

image

4. "Selections", "Modify", "Expand" and choose "5"

5. "Layers", "New Raster Layer" and flood fill it with a color of your choice then on your layer palette move this layer BELOW your rose frame layer.

6. With your flood filled layer still selected go to  "Effects", "Texture Effects", "Texture" and use the settings shown in the print screen below. Then "Selections", "Select None"
(you can give it any texture effect of your choice)

7.  On your V~JeweledHearts image delete the copyright layer then take your selections tool set to "freehand selection" with the settings shown below and trace around one of the hearts (I used the one on the far right) (you trace by clicking around the heart then when you come all the way around and meet up with where you started double click your mouse and that will close your selection around your heart)

8.  "Edit", "copy" and edit, paste as a new layer on to your new canvas then
reduce size to  40% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "40%" all layers UNCHECKED.

9.  Go up to your "Effects", "PlugIns" and find your  MuRa's Meister and choose "copies" and use the settings shown in the print screen below

10.  reduce size to  80% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "80%" all layers
UNCHECKED.
(make sure on you layer palette this layer is inbetween your floral frame layer and your flood filled layer)
see my print screen below for what I have now

11.  On your V~BalloonValentines image delete the copyright layer then take your selections tool set to "freehand selection" using the same settings as we did previously trace around one of the groupings of balloons. (I used the one on the far right). "Edit", "copy" and edit, paste as a new layer on to your new canvas reduce size to  90% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "90%" all layers UNCHECKED. I also took my eraser tool and erased the bottom strings of the balloon
Make sure this is your top layer on your layer palette.

12.  I choose to put the name on the top balloon so therefore wanted a solid color for the balloon.  In the supplies I supplied a overlay you can use if you like (LHDForeverValentineballoonoverlay).  Just copy and paste it on to your canvas then move it over the top balloon. It should fit perfectly.  Once you've done that on your layer palette right click on it and
"merge down" merging it with your balloon layer.

13.   "Edit", "copy" and edit, paste as a new layer  your tube of choice. The tube I used worked out perfectly. I just had to reduce the size down to about 65% and she fit in the centre just nicely. If you use a different tube you may need to take your eraser brush and erase the bottom of the tube so she looks like she's sitting inside the heart frame.

14.  On your V~BowsnBowsOfHearts2 image delete the copyright layer then take your selections tool set to "freehand selection" using the same settings as we did previously trace around one of the bows. (I used the one pink bow). "Edit", "copy" and edit, paste as a new layer on to your new canvas reduce size to  70% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "70%" all layers UNCHECKED.  Move the bow so it's centered on the bottom of the floral frame. I also coloried my balloon red. You can do this by going up to "Adjust", "Hue and Saturation", "Colorize".
(you can see the print screen below for the settings I used)

15.  "Edit", "copy" and edit, paste the LHDForeverValentineWA and place it where you'd like (I put mine along the bottom)

16.  Click on your very bottom white layer to make it active.  "Layers", "New Raster Layer" and flood fill it with a color of your choice.  (I choose a matching red color)

17.   "Layers", "New Mask Layer",  "From Image"  When the settings box pops up arrow down and find your "Vix_Mask239" (which is your mask)
(see my print screen below for the settings to use)

18.  On your layers palette right click on your mask layer and
"merge group"

19. I didn't want the words "Love Letters" showing on my tag so I took my selections tool (same settings as previously used) and clicked around those words then once selected I hit the "delete" key on my keyboard. (or you can use your eraser tool).

20.  On your layer palette right click on your mask layer and "duplicate", then "image", "mirror", then "image", "flip".  Right click on your top mask layer on your layer palette and "merge down" merging your 2 mask layers together.  I then gave my merged mask layer a
drop shadow.

21.  Add your name and place it on your top blank balloon.

22.  Add the artist copyright information.

23.  If you'd like to save it as a jpg you can do that now (so it has the white background) OR if you'd like a transparent background, on your layer palette right click on your bottom white layer and "delete" then you can save your tag as a "png" file which will preserve the transparent background.

YOU ARE NOW ALL DONE
