For this tutorial you will need
* Tube of choice, I am using the artwork ofIsmael Rac. It is a PTU Tube which you can purchase from his store at HERE (*Warning* mature content at link provided)
* The awesome FTU scrap kit I used is from Art Mama's Studio called "Kisses" which you can get from her blog HERE
Font Of Your Choice (I used the font "Love Light" which is a PTU font which I can't supply)
Let's Begin
1. Open a new canvas 600 X 600 white background
2. From the Kisses scrap kit open up the Artmama - Kisses embellie 17, "selections", "select all" then "edit copy", then back to your main canvas and "edit" "paste as a new layer"reduce size to 80% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "80%" all layers UNCHECKED. Move it down and over to the right (see my print screen below for what I have now)
3. On your layer palette right click on your embellie 17 layer and "duplicate"
4. Go to "Image" "Mirror", then "Image", "Flip"
5. Right click on your top embellie 17 layer and "merge down" (what you're doing is merging your 2 embellie 17 layers together) (see my print screen below for what I have now)
6. Now we're going to colorize it by going to "Adjust", "Hue and Saturation", "Colorize" (if you are unsure where to find how to do this see my print screen below)
7. Use the settings shown below
8. From the Kisses scrap kit open up the "Artmama - Kisses embellie 18, "selections", "select all" then "edit copy", then back to your main canvas and "edit" "paste as a new layer"reduce size to 85% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "85%" all layers UNCHECKED. Move it slightly over to the left
9. We're going to colorize it by going to "Adjust", "Hue and Saturation", "Colorize" using the same settings as previously (Hue - 0, Saturation-255)
10. From the Kisses scrap kit open up the Artmama - Kisses embellie 16, "selections", "select all" then "edit copy", then back to your main canvas and "edit" "paste as a new layer" reduce size to 60% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "60%" all layers UNCHECKED.
11. Go up to "Image", then "Free Rotate" and rotate to the right by 90 degrees All layers and rotate single layer around canvas center UNCHECKED (see my print screen below for the settings)
12. Colorize it by going to "Adjust", "Hue and Saturation", "Colorize" using the same settings as previously (Hue - 0, Saturation-255)
13. Move this frame over to the right of your larger frame and make sure this layer is UNDER your larger frame layer (see my print screen for what I have now.)
14. Click on your top layer in your layer palette making it active (this should be your bigger frame) then right click on it and "merge down" what you're doing is merging your 2 frame layers together.
15. Take your magic wand tool and click inside the large frame and inside the 3 small frames until you have marching ants The best settings I found to do this with are as follows; (see print screen below) Mode: Add(shift), Match mode: RGB Value, Tolerance: 102, Contiguous checked, Feather: 0, Anti-alias checked, Inside (see my print screen below. You can see the dashed lines (marching ants) around the inside of my frames
16. "Selections", "Modify", "Expand" and choose "5"
17. From the Kisses scrap kit open up the Artmama - Kisses 10 (or any paper of your choice) and "Selections", "Select All" then "Edit", "Copy" go back to you main canvas and "edit" , "paste as a new layer".
18. "Selections", "invert" then hit your "delete key" on your keyboard. Move this layer below your frame layer. "Selections", "Select None".
19. Open up your tube of choice and place it in your large frame. I erased the bottom of my tube to it looked like she was coming out of the frame (see print screen for what I have now)
20. Take your magic wand tool (same settings as previously) and click inside the the top right frame until you have marching ants. Copy and paste your tube and move a part of it into that frame area that you want to show. Once happy go to "selections", "invert" then hit the "delete" key on your keyboard.
21. Repeat the previous step for the other two frames until you have a different part of your tube showing in each frame (see print screen for what I have now)
21. From the Kisses scrap kit open up the Artmama - Kisses embellie 7 and then "Edit", "Copy" go back to you main canvas and "edit" , "paste as a new layer"reduce size to 60% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "60%" all layers UNCHECKED. Move it to the top inbetween the two frames (where they meet) Colorize it using the same settings as we have previously.
22. From the Kisses scrap kit open up the Artmama - Kisses embellie 10 and then "Edit", "Copy" go back to you main canvas and"edit" , "paste as a new layer"reduce size to 65% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "65%" all layers UNCHECKED. Move it to the top inbetween the two frames (where they meet and is over top of the tag you just pasted in the previous step) Colorize it using the same settings as we have previously. (see print screen for what I have now)
23. From the Kisses scrap kit open up the Artmama - Kisses embellie 05 (the word art "Cherish") and then "Edit", "Copy" go back to you main canvas and "edit" , "paste as a new layer" reduce size to 23% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "23%" all layers UNCHECKED. Move it into the area where the tag is hanging so it looks like it's writing on the tag. Colorize it using the same settings as we have previously.
24. From the Kisses scrap kit open up the Artmama - Kisses embellie 35 (the word art "LOVE") and then "Edit", "Copy" go back to you main canvas and "edit" , "paste as a new layer" reduce size to 45% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "45%" all layers UNCHECKED. Move it to the bottom and over to the left of your frame. On your layers palette move this layer BELOW both your frame layers. The idea is the word art is peeking out from under the frame. Colorize it using the same settings as we have previously.
25. From the Kisses scrap kit open up the Artmama - Kisses embellie 04 (the word art "XOXO") and then "Edit", "Copy" go back to you main canvas and "edit" , "paste as a new layer" reduce size to 65% by going to "Image" , "Resize" "65%" all layers UNCHECKED. Move it to the bottom and over to the right of your frame. On your layers palette move this layer BELOW both your frame layers. The idea is the word art is peeking out from under the frame. Colorize it using the same settings as we have previously. (see print screen for what I have now)
26. Add your name and your copyright information, save as a png or jpg file and YOU'RE ALL DONE
**Note** My preview shows some "noise" added to my tag. If you'd like to do that as well and don't know how to add noise to a tag you can use the "DSB Flux Filter - Bright Noise". I have written a tutorial on how to use this filter if you'd like to try the tutorial to add the noise to your tag.
Animation really isn't necessary with this tag as it looks just as nice without ;)
